Workin' Women | Sul Sul, Sulani! 8

by - July 13, 2019

Previously: After a great night out at the new club in town, Elei and Nohea decided to further their relationship and move in together.

I've really, really been wanting to get a dog in this story and, well, no time like the present!

Nohea kind of took the lead on the whole adoption process.

And by "took the lead," I mean Elei wasn't even involved, even though she was mere feet away. It appears as if this little guy is a keeper. His name is Ahe.

Nohea: Don't freak out, but you might notice someone new around the house.

Elei is like, "babe, what did you do?" She low key is totally fine with a new puppy, though.

Ahe is like a little king upon his big, puffy, blue throne.

How! Cute! Is! This!

My favorite custom career creator, midnitetech, released a Sulani part-time job pack, with several different branches. Ever since I saw Nohea for the first time, I just saw her as a surfer and this job will allow her to be that (only in title, really, but I can pretend, right?).

As an aqua yoga instructor, Nohea needs to know yoga. Obviously. And what a gorgeous backdrop, right?

Ahe: Mom. Mom? Mooooooom. Can we go for a walk? Please. Mom. I need to pee.*

*Translated from dog.

Elei is also making strides in her career. She is hoping that she can soon branch off into something more related to animals, though. No shade to plants or anything.

This is really just to showcase a new outfit I gave Elei that I think is really cute.

Since her job was kind enough to gift her with a canoe, Elei figured she should probably take it out for a spin instead of just letting it sit.

I had to sell the stereo because the dog was always scared of it and my automatic turn-off mod wasn't working but, trust me, the girls got a lot of use out of it before it was gone. This is also just to showcase one of Nohea's more feminine looks.

Girls' night out and, this time, they are visiting the newly revamped Sand Bar.

Sigh. They are so cute together.

Elei met this little doggo at the bar!

Look at that little scrunched up face! Their house is, I think, a little too small for more than one pet, so she'll just have to get her fill of this guy here.

And then she got super irritated by all the people walking around in bear costumes and started throwing these little rocks into the bonfire? Sims culture is beyond me sometimes. I can't believe mainland customs such as Bear Night made their way to Sulani.

Ahe, no! Shield your eyes! This is nothing for a puppy to see.

I'm not going to expose which Sim this buff belongs to but, yeah, one of our girls had a rough night.

Um, okay, Nohea lived with Alika for like a hot minute and now he's being all clingy. We definitely won't be traveling halfway around the world with you to fix your PC. Sorry.

Nohea is too busy being zen to hang out with you anyway, Alika.

Elei: Hey, so, I saw you drop some trash over there... were you going to go back and clean it up?

I don't think Elei's attempt at a nice conversation with this litterbug went over very well.

Luckily, one of Elei's coworkers, Makoa, was nearby to help neutralize the situation. It looks like he is kind of judging Elei for her attire, though. Listen, buddy, not everyone wants to wear those stuffy vests all of the time!

Makoa: So listen, bro, you really can't be littering on our sweet island...

Jury's still out on whether or not this tag-team effort worked.

I really wanted to show the fish that were leaping out of the water but I couldn't get a good picture of it. You can kind of tell that they are jumping but, whatever, just enjoy the colors, I guess.
