Welcome to San Myshuno | In the City 1
Here it comes: our baby is all grown up and ready to set off on his own. Luckily, he didn't have to look very hard to find somewhere to stay. It makes sense that a blossoming musician would head off to the city in search of new opportunities and it just so happens that his new fiancée, Rhea, already lived in San Myshuno. On her own. In a pretty decent two-bedroom apartment. With kind of a lot of money? Like, when I moved August in, they had 40,000 Simoleons! I thought that that was a little too lap-of-luxury for a couple of young adults, especially our August (the Quickover family funds never came close to that), so I cheated them down to about 5,000 Simoleons like the little witch of a creator I am. They're doing just fine in life now so, hey, it must've worked out great.
How else are you going to spend your first night in the big city? Job hunting? Psh. Home decor shopping? Nah. Having some okay sex with your smoking hot soulmate.
Here is Rhea's updated look. I think she is just so beautiful. I decided to give her a non-natural hair color and it goes so well with her overall look.
Rhea wants to be a chef and is starting out by making her beau some breakfast.
Quick run-down on Rhea since we will be seeing a lot more of her:
- Traits: Snob, Water Lover, Neat, Essence of Flavor
- Aspiration: Master Chef
August is either really into these eggs and toast or he is just pretending for Rhea's sake.
Girl, same. I love watching TV.
It's like August has to keep glancing at Rhea to make sure that she really exists.
Kid has been gone for, like, a day and his parents already want to meet up in the park. Trust me, this won't be the last of Helena just showing up.
August: Yes, Mom, I'm eating my vegetables and washing behind my ears.
Father and son, still the best of buds. And Erick is definitely doing better at this separation thing than Helena is.
This lady is pissed!
In other news, their housewarming WooHoos have resulted in this. Great. And their apartment is on a ley line.
Rhea is cute as heck when pregnant, though.
Rhea: Surprise, honey!
It kind of looks like August is about to get on his knees and beg for forgiveness.
Annnnd, yeah, it looks like that from this angle, too. It's okay, Dad! You're gonna do great!
Pregnancy isn't a walk in the park for our girl, though. She's really uncomfortable all the time.
I'm assuming this boxing is doctor approved.
Physical activity didn't help Rhea's cause any, as she is still as nauseous as ever.
I guess I don't need to include gross throwing up photos but if I have to be witness to this, you do, too.
A few sweet nothings and binge-watching some TV might help Rhea feel a bit more comfortable.
Or not. She decided to go on an outing to a museum and to see some of the sights but it isn't starting off so well.
She did meet a few nice women and I'm sure she's asking a bunch of questions about impending motherhood from this kind lady.
I don't know why she's torturing herself by standing out in the rain listening to this busker but, hey, if that's what you want.
Back home and things still aren't going well. God, I hope the end is near, for Rhea's sake and mine.
