Winter Living | Quickover 1.11

by - September 20, 2018

Previously: Arwen had some demon eyes and August met a mesmerizing Llama Scout.

I'm just... really confused by these gloves. Like, still wearing the hospital gown, I get that. What's the point of the gloves? It looks like Helena's about to do petty crime after she gives Adrian his bedtime bottle.

We had to add on to the house to make room for this little surprise bundle of joy. His nursery is pretty cute, if I do say so myself.

Yogi is a little older and a little more sleepy, but he'll still keep watch over any Quickover children that make their way into the family.

Escaping the baby mania, Arwen finds herself in the park, crossing the monkey bars and trying to make friends.

Childhood friendships don't seem to stick in my style of gameplay because I couldn't for the life of me tell you this kid's name and he obviously isn't still around in the future. Oops!

Poor girl had so much fun outside she accidentally forgot to get to the bathroom in time and had an accident. It looks like a messy one. Ew.

Erick's arms are so big it's like they are bigger than the whole baby. Like Erick's bicep is bigger than the baby.

Oh, no. Yogi has some... ice? Dripping from his muzzle? And some stars dancing around his head. Back to the vet we go.

Helena's in charge this time, in her festive holiday sweater.

What can only be an incredibly painful shot is nothing to this ol' girl.

In due time, Yogi is back to her normal self: sleeping in weird positions while Helena paints away in the background.

Who doesn't love a leisurely stroll in the bitter cold? When you're a pet owner, you've gotta suck it up and shiver.

Yogi is fascinated by baby Adrian.

Erick this is your third rodeo, not your first, put that shushing finger away and just snuggle with your son.

Brief intermission to appreciate this beautiful sunset. I don't think I pay close enough attention to the details and the surroundings. When I do happen to catch moments like these, I am in awe of the graphics and the worlds that this team has created, I just need to appreciate it more often.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I'm not sure if August is trying to help Arwen with her invisible homework or distract her. Or get her to stop writing on the table.

Just like that, Adrian has had enough with being a helpless baby and instead wants to be a kind-of-helpless-but-still-kind-of-weirdly-advanced-for-his-age toddler!

Helena: Son, I love you, but this bowl cut simply can't remain.

Here he is! Adrian takes after his dad with the blonde locks - at least for now.

Now this is a Winterfest-ready residence.

Adrian: Are these...? They can't be? The fabled peas I've heard my siblings talk about!? What a blessed day!

You can really tell Adrian is Erick's son since he's the first one to have blonde hair.

Oh, so Erick gets the fun tasks like reading, but he leaves Helena the dirty ones. I see how it is.

Helena: Adrian, stop looking at your poop and let's get this over with. No hanging out on the toilet, young man.

The return of the evil, demon-like eyes. This girl can only be up to one thing.

Arwen, what are you doing with that present? It's not time yet! Put it down!

Well, well, well. Someone's going on the naughty list.
