Bye, Bye, Bethany | Quickover 2.10
Previously: Beatrix dyed her hair black. That's about the extent of her rebellion. I'm really bad at this game, guys, I just want perfect kids.
Even though she was and is a really good kid, Bethany is feeling suffocated in the family home.
She decides to take it out on her sister's school project. Come on, girl, you know how much hard work goes into these! Chill out!
Molly finally got a good opportunity to wag her parenting finger (seriously, our kids are angels).
Oh, Bethany, you poor thing. She's so unhappy!
A quick yoga session is just what Bethany needs to calm down... for now. Great form, B.
Brief interlude to appreciate this kid's dance skills and hat.
Okay, I missed a birthday and Bethany is now a young adult. Just go with it.
Okay, so, newly young adult Bethany is not feeling it anymore. She brought up some issues she has with the way the household runs and, well, Arwen is drawing a line.
Bethany: I'm an adult now, Mom, you can't use your curfew board on me!
Arwen: An adult? Young lady, I know a thing or two about adulthood and, believe me, you aren't in it yet.
And she walked away. And she packed her bags.
Bethany will soon have her own short spin-off, Desert Dreams.
I spotted Rhea out on a walk and she looked so sad. And then I spotted August behind her and, wow, she really wasn't happy with him. I'm sorry, Rhea, I should've let you spread your wings earlier.
Even though things ended on not that great of terms, the family took a trip to Oasis Springs after a few days to hang out with Bethany at her local park.
Beatrix was being extremely moody for some reason. We can't see Briony's face but I imagine it was very judgmental.
I love when I see NPCs doing random things. This guy is super into his muscles. He looks like any typical bro but I'm not hating it.
Now Bea just looks angry. What is going on with this girl?
Does this picture remind anyone else of this meme? Like the childhood friend version. Except I don't even know this purple haired girl so I don't know why she's so sad. Maybe she can just sense that Briony is amazing and would kill to be besties. Wait, now I'm sad.
Beatrix: You may have moved out first but let's see if you can win a game of chess first!
I'm not sure where this rivalry came from but carry on.
After the drama of the past few days, Arwen just needed some reassurance that everything was going to be okay and that her and Molly are good parents.
Here's Briony, still being a little social butterfly.
The new, independent Bethany took it upon herself to grill up some veggie burgers for the family. It looks a litttttle smoky, in my opinion.
Hi, my name is The Plumbob Diaries, and I have an overall problem.
So this dude Joe came over to play video games and apparently he's somehow related, probably through Molly, I have no idea.
Beatrix lost, I guess. Sucks to suck.
Oh good God, she hasn't even become a teen yet and she's already totally angst-ing.
Briony: I just saw one sister move out angrily and the other dye her hair black. Do I really want to get older?
Valid concerns, Bri, but you have no choice.
Tell me where this black hair thing came from? It's a "no" from me.
And because I love her and I couldn't decide, here's 2 looks at our girl as a teen (also, this is when I found a new portrait editing style so, yeah).
