In the City | Series Update & Highlights 1
As I've played on past where I am in my posting on this blog, families have gotten bigger and stories have grown and I'm still working on mastering how I want to handle these things. I thought that I had grown very attached to Tegan, August and Rhea's daughter, but I'm just so enamored with the "main" Quickover family that I drifted away from her in the last week or so. I want to explore more about them and their stories as we get ready to kick off the "C" generation.
So. I have a lot of In the City photos already grouped that could be turned into posts. However, I'm not going to do that. I want to get caught up as quickly as possible and narrowing my focus just to one story (until it branches off to where I am now) will help me with that. I've marked the In the City household as unplayed, for now, and will see if MC Command Center puts them up to anything interesting.
For now, here is a lightning round of moments from San Myshuno.
This random woman kept coming into the apartment and sleeping in Rhea and August's bed:
No one invited you anyways, lady, so take your personal emergency and stay far away from us.
There was a return visit to the WooHoo Observatory.
The toddlers aged up and Tegan, in particular, grew into a tiara so, yeah, she's special.
There was a cat named Pepper who I felt personally connected to. See the following image for an example:
Same, cat.
Adrian got tired of the suburban life and moved in with his older brother. Tegan is not so sure about him.
August became a proper adult.
The apartment felt entirely too small but, hey, if you chose to willingly move into a two bedroom apartment when there are already four people living there, you're just asking to be on a cramped couch.
It wasn't long, though, until the whole family took the plunge and moved into a much nicer apartment. It did stay barely furnished for quite some time, though.
Tegan joined the Paragons.
August continued his quest of eating at every food stall San Myshuno has to offer.
Annnnnd, we have young adults, already:
There is so much of Rhea in Tegan's look.
Tegan's follower count quickly started to rise once she joined a social media career.
Oliver, however, liked a more laid back life, befriending stray cats in the dead of winter.
