They Do | Quickover 3.3
Previously: Arwen explored space one last time. Conrad entered the pesky toddler phase.
Adrienne is still attempting this whole beekeeping thing. At least she is able to collect the honey without being swarmed every time.
And look! Sting-free bonding. Progress is truly being made.
Another miserable day in the life of Conrad; he's being fed peas. Again. He longs for the times when the grownups leave their food out so he can just grab a plate of that instead.
C is for Cat and Conrad.
Conrad: Listen, Mom, these peas are a travesty. Where's the good stuff?
Do you remember when Bethany went to the jungle once and there was this dude there that looked like August?! Somehow, someway, he and Beatrix had a little bit of romance form. Don't ask me how. Anyways, TO THIS DAY in my game play, he keeps asking her out! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?! She is a married woman, Facundo.
The couple that works out in the kitchen together, stays together?
Sai made this adorable elephant statue for his son. He's a true woodworking talent.
Lola has encountered a stuffed seal. Lola does not like the stuffed seal. Not one bit.
This is a bit of an extreme reaction, though. I will admit, what with Conrad being a needy toddler and all, Lola's care and attention may have taken a bit of a backseat.
There she goes. Off on her own. I hope she finds what she's looking for and comes home when the time is right.
Auntie Bri has taken it upon herself to comfort Conrad on the disappearance of Lola, surrounded by piles of her hair. If only we had brushed her more often. Oh, God, we are horrible pet parents.
Beatrix is at the point in her career where she has to make a big decision: what should she focus on? Obviously, forensic animator is the most interesting out of these choices.
Conrad is still really broken up over Lola running away. Apparently, I gave Mango up for adoption or something because she has also disappeared.
What better way to alleviate the sadness than a little bit of imaginative play?
My digital ovaries are quaking. Must have more Sim babies NOW.
And, tuckered out from all of that playing, Conrad gets to drift off to sleep while listening to the dulcet tones of his father, reading one of his favorite books.
Lola is back! And absolutely fucking filthy! Briony doesn't seem to mind, though.
I forgot who painted this. I'm pretty sure it was Beatrix. It's... stunning.
The Couple Who Works Out Together, Redux:
Listen. It's hard to lose weight in this game. I think I've mentioned this before. I just can't figure it out. So don't be surprised if Bea takes a more... extreme step to slim down in the future.
Beatrix is a chess master. When she doesn't have an actual opponent.
Adrienne's garden is coming along very nicely. So much green! So many harvestables!
It's that time again: the Romance Festival is in town and Briony and Adrienne are among the attendees, even if the latter looks a bit... timid about the whole thing.
First, just a taste of the Sakura tea.
Ladies, I said just a taste, not just enough tastes to cause this unnatural glow. Whatever. The merch stand is the next stop.
And then, well, there was an arch.
I totally stole this idea from my sister. Sue me! Her rendition of impromptu Romance Festival wedding is also way better than mine so, yeah, check it out.
Sigh. Just so beautiful. Love is real.
