Previously on Love Island: Nadia and Theo entered the villa and everyone just had kind of a weird, bad day.


Like the other Islanders, Theo starts off his day by keeping in shape.


Until Nadia comes by and tells him something apparently quite shocking. Maybe it's about how the girl he has been talking to, Madeleine, seemingly has it out for Nadia for no apparent reason.


Phoebe: I got a text! "Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling. You will each pick who you want to couple up with in random order."


News of the recoupling has everyone scrambling to have as many conversations as possible.

Patrick: Don't look now, but Theo is definitely checking you out.


Phoebe: At this point, I have no idea who I am going to end up coupled with. As long as I'm not leaving the villa, it's all good for me! Theo is really cute, though...


Yesterday, a slip-and-slide. Today, a karaoke machine. These Islanders are getting spoiled.


Uh-oh. Looks like things aren't going so great between Madeleine and Theo. He has, after all, heard about how mean she is to Nadia and there is a sort of loyalty between them, entering the villa on the same day and all.


There's a lot of hugging going on today. Some of it between friends and...


Some of it between more-than-friends.

Patrick and Phoebe have been spending some time together but I wouldn't read too much into that.


Okay, girls, play nice. This is Love Island, not Enemy Island.


Nadia: I don't know what's going on with Madeleine. She's had it out for me the second we met. It's not like I'm trying to steal whoever she has the hots for!


Nadia: I will get her to like me!


Meanwhile, it's a big ol' karaoke and dance party before the recoupling.



Madeleine is obsessed with the swing set now that she knows it exists.




I think Theo has really found his place in the villa if he's comfortable dancing like this.

Just a little while later, it's time for the recoupling. The Islanders sit next to whom they are currently coupled up with.


Madeleine and Phoebe haven't really had any romantic spark between them.


Patrick, Nadia, and Theo all came in after day one and are all single.


Dylan and Mara have a bit of a spark between them.


Dominic has also been single but, as we know, has quickly caught feelings for Adam.




Theo: I want to couple up with this person because their beauty took my breath away the moment I saw them. They seem totally genuine and I can't wait to get to know them better and, maybe if I'm lucky, they will paint something for me. The person I want to couple up with is... Phoebe.


Next, it's Dominic's turn.


Dominic: I want to couple up with this Sim because they are just so incredible. I did not expect them to be the one that I was drawn to, but I am. So the Sim I want to couple up with is... Adam.


Georgia is up third.


Georgia: I want to couple up with this Sim because, for the first few days here, I didn't feel like I was making connections with anyone and, since they came in the villa, we have had a lot of good conversations. Not to mention, they are ridiculously smart and sweet. So the Sim I want to couple up with is... Nadia.


And Dylan is up fourth.


Dylan: I want to couple up with this Sim because we are slowly but surely getting closer and they are bringing out a different side of me that I really like. The Sim I want to couple up with is... Mara.


Finally, it's time for Madeleine.


Madeleine: I want to couple up with this Sim because they haven't had it easy since they came into the villa and, if anything, I hope to be a nice cuddle partner for them. They are incredibly kind and I can see their walls coming down more and more every day. Here's to us both finding someone. The Sim I want to couple up with is... Patrick.



After the recoupling, some of the guys worked off the nerves with a bit of twilight yoga.


With only four beds upstairs, Nadia and Georgia are outside tonight.


Phoebe is so happy to be in a couple with Theo, she's stripped down to nothing. Girl. Get it together.


And upstairs, the couples have settled nicely into their new sleeping arrangements.


Next Time on Love Island: The Islanders settle into their new couples, though there may already be new feelings developing. Also, the hideaway is open for the first time. Which lucky couple will get to spend the night together and earn some privacy? Stay tuned.
