Previously on Love Island: The Islanders settled into villa life and their respective couples, while you all voted on who new boy Patrick should take on a date.



It's another beautiful morning in Sulani and our Islanders are working on their best physical selves.



Dylan clearly didn't get the memo that dancing is the best cardio. Loosen up, dude!


I think that Georgia is still struggling to find any genuine romantic connection (yeah, yeah, it's day two). Maybe Dylan can provide some insight.


Also, she is definitely my favorite. So if you see any bias towards her... yeah. It'll happen.


Whatever these two are talking about, I don't think Mara is a big fan of it.


Mara: I got a text! "Mara, get ready to leave the villa. Patrick is waiting to meet you on the beach."

Georgia and Adam are oblivious.


Mara: Please help me pick out an outfit!


Overall, I'd say she is quite pleased to be he heading out of the villa.


Dylan, whom Mara is currently coupled up with, seems supportive of her going on a date.


Dylan: Go get 'em!
Adam: Bro, you did not just say that...


Damn, Mara! Lookin' good!


I'm not exactly sure what to make of this expression but I think it's somewhere along the lines of "I can't believe this is my life right now."

The date pretty much consisted of sitting down and talking and, really, neither party seemed that into it.




Soon enough, it was back to the villa.


Hmmm... instead of introducing everyone to Patrick, Mara and Dylan made a beeline for each other. Is there actually the beginning of something there?


After Mara and Patrick got back, Dylan got this moodlet. It seems as if he really wanted to be the one on the beach with her...


Patrick isn't really making any immediate connections. Also I had to delete the basketball hoops because they would not stop playing. Same with the stereo and dancing. This is a love competition not a danceathon.


Even though Mara is the yoga instructor, Phoebe is the one taking advantage of the mats.


Red alert! Mara is and Dylan are flirting! Right in front of Patrick!


Everyone seems so glum around the table at dinnertime. Come on! You're on an island, in a beautiful villa, surrounded by beautiful people!


Mara: My date with Patrick was fine, and I'm flattered I was chosen, but there's just something about Dylan. He isn't even my usual type!


As day 2 comes to a close, single Patrick has chosen to sleep on one of the daybeds outside.


While everyone else's sleeping arrangements are the same as night one.

These Islanders also love to take selfies. Here are a couple that I caught happening:
