Culture | Sul Sul, Sulani! 9

by - August 22, 2019

Previously: Both Elei and Nohea saw advancements with their jobs and had time for themselves, as well.

(I really buckled down on my Love Island series lately so I kind of don't remember particulars of small moments like this random hug.)

Oh, yeah. This is when they went out for a nice dinner at the new upscale restaurant over in Lani St. Taz. It glitched out, though, so there isn't much to show for it.

Mostly, it just gave me an excuse to take a bunch of pictures of Elei and Nohea being their beautiful selves.

It's not all expensive dinner dates, though. There are still mundane chores that need to be done around the house.

Ahe is a fully-grown doggo now! How handsome is he?

What a life. Just lazing around all day. Jealous.

On such a beautiful morning, the girls make the most of it. Nohea makes sure her yoga skills aren't getting rusty and Elei takes Ahe out for a nice jog.

(I'm not sure why she looks so sad.)

One of the locals is pregnant! How exciting! Again, Elei is sad and I don't have a clue! Just go with it.

Oh. Well. This is certainly a sight to see.

After getting sufficiently tan, Nohea and Elei head over to the cultural center to brush up on some, well, culture.

Elei is admiring the vases but I think Nohea is just admiring her girl.

Nohea is enjoying the local musicians.

And she is more apt to ask the employees about specific things, while Elei just wants to enjoy the art in peace.

There's always time for a quick romance, just like giddy teenagers falling in love for the first time.

Later, it's a visit to the pavilion to see what kind of festivities are going on there.

Our girls aren't at all concerned about the lady wielding fire around their heads...

No day full of Sulanian (is this word a thing?) culture is complete without some kava.

Elei: To us!

It doesn't take long for the effects to hit.

Ahe has literally so much sand to pee in, yet he chooses to go on the deck, right next to Nohea's yoga mat?! Okay. Choices.

Watch your step, girl...

Elei is supposed to be honing her logic skill for work but Nohea and her charm have other plans.

And some other random snippets that don't have much contextual importance:

Kava is not for dogs, Ahe.

Is Elei any good at cooking dinner?

Doesn't seem like it...

Also I'm pretty sure this was Harvestfest.

Nohea: But, babe, it's the thought that counts and I'm so thankful to even have you to cook this horrible meal for me!

Nohea also has quite a knack for the guitar.

The next part will be a lot more coherent... maybe. We'll see about that.
