Previously on Love Island: The third and fourth final dates happened. Sebastian and Aspen were dumped from the villa.


The last day in the villa has finally arrived. Georgia has taken it upon herself to make breakfast.


As most days do, this final one starts with dancing.


The day is going to be spent relaxing and chatting and figuring things out before heading back into the real world.


And Madeleine needs to make sure she is in the best shape possible for all of the end-of-show press.




Phoebe: I'd love for you to meet my parents... if that's something you want to consider.


Marisol really is making the most of the pool on day twenty-one.


Madeleine: We've been together since the beginning. Even if our relationships don't work out, this friendship always will.
Georgia: We're going to have so many sleepovers!


Oh, okay. The last day is really bringing the excitement. Just a couple of ladies after a skinny dip, no big deal.


It seems that Madeleine has come down with some type of tiger virus. We're sure it's not at all contagious.


A little later, Georgia takes a little time away from the group to reflect on the entire Love Island experience.


And the daybeds are finally getting some use again... while everyone else is still outside... in plain view.


Evan and Phoebe quickly excuse themselves from that situation.

 Before long, it's time to get ready for the announcement of the winners.


Everyone is excited and talkative, wanting to connect with everyone before the business of going back home begins.

Before the winners are announced, Phoebe whips up a round of drinks for the Islanders.


Georgia is looking extremely confident.


The couples gather around the fire pit one last time, waiting to see who will receive the celebratory text.

Will it be Evan and Phoebe?


Or maybe Nadia and Georgia, both looking stunning in pink?


Or will it be Madeleine and Marisol, whom came into the game at a perfect point for Mads?

The votes are in...


Madeleine: I got a text! "Madeleine and Marisol, you have been voted the winners of Love Island!"


And, suitably, the night concludes with even more dancing.


No word on Evan and Phoebe's whereabouts. They're probably already packing up, ready to head out into the real world.


(I'm really happy to be ending this series without giving up. That being said, I had a lot more ambitious plans for how the finals days were going to go, especially the announcement of the winners. I originally planned a spin-off series for the winning couple; we'll see if that still happens. I really enjoyed making all of these Sims and including polls, even if not many people voted. This is definitely something I would try again and try to make my vision happen a little bit better. Thank you all for reading and participating!)
