The Plumbob Diaries

With a growing bunch of kids, Sage spends a lot of time making coconut carob cake.

I genuinely just always take screenshots of these animations, so. They serve no purpose.

Leinani is hogging the spotlight and she doesn't even have a kid in this family yet!

It is so hard to get pictures of a birthday. No one ever cooperates with watching the birthday actually happen.

And no one cares when the Birthday Girl is magically glowing, either! Except maybe Quincy, her dad (and, yes, I remember his name now).

Here she is: Dove as a kid! I love her eyes, they are so pretty!

Leinani is just always so enthused to be involved in this family's activities. She loves us.

Auntie Joanne is the best!

Celery loves roaming around Brindleton Bay on his own.

But he always comes back when Sage starts calling.

This wall is so full now compared to what it was in this picture. Time flies!

Sage is just trying to have a nice, comfortable lounge when, all of a sudden...

The labor pains kick in. Here we go again!

Baby number 3 is... a girl! Again! (I did not manipulate any of these genders, by the way.)

This is Canary. Do you know what color a canary is? Yellow. Do you know what color the next generation is? Lemonade. Yup. Here's our heir!

These girls love being outside, whether it's to work on a project or do homework at the picnic table.

They also love dinner time with their mom!

Look at all these presents from Celery! What a good boy.

Aw, Olive. May you rest in peace. Sage's parents are both gone now but she will remember them always.

Not sure what purpose this serves. The cute pajamas? Maybe. I don't know. Or maybe the girls are celebrating because Sage is off to the woods and they get to run around alone.

It's back to that mysterious entrance that leads to some kind of forest paradise.

And this time, we actually meet the Sim that lives there all alone. This is Salvatore, the Hermit of Granite Falls, and the father of a future child, as per challenge rules.

Well, Sage, some people might think you are kind of weird, too, so don't be too harsh.

Despite that Sentiment, these two hit it off pretty well. And Sage is totally amped to have his genes in play. I mean, come on, that beautiful hair!

Unfortunately, that exploring wasn't all positive. Sage is headed home with an icky, annoying itch. Sometimes wanting to be the best outdoor enthusiast means having to invest in some calamine lotion.

Raising bees is a tricky business. They love to swarm.

With the garden all tended to, Sage helps Lark work on her school project before her dad comes to pick her up.

It's out to the park for Diego and Lark. It's wild how much I see him in her, way more than I see Sage in her.

Like mother, like daughter. Gotta collect those frogs!

This wildly dressed kid is actually related to Lark. They would be Sage's great-aunt, technically, even though they are not part of the story (AKA Lyla had a baby after Ciel started her storyline because I marked Lyla as unplayed and MCCC did its thing).

Of course Lark would talk her dad into buying her a pink sparkly cupcake.

Back at home, it's time for a bit of gardening before inviting over Leinani.

Sage starts things off innocently enough.

But soon ramps it up a bit, taking Leinani a bit by surprise.

With so many kids required in this generation, I'm trying to switch up the conception locations. Baby number three is created in the steam.

Was Sage successful in getting pregnant? Only time will tell. And by time, I mean the second it will take to scroll to the next picture.

One thing Sage does not have is fertility issues. Her body loves being pregnant.

The most awkward of introductions. "Yeah, nice to meet you, Dove, I most definitely didn't just give you a little sibling in the bathroom."

THIS DOG'S FACE. IS THIS A JOKE?!

"This little human won't give me my ball. Please assist."

We now have a tiny little greenhouse! It's empty, sure, but it's there!

When the bees cooperate, it's so serene and pretty.

Sage loves being in Granite Falls, she really does, but it's also harder now to be away from her babies.

Remember the mysterious gate thing from the previous post? Time to find out what it hides.

Retreat? Never. Obviously, we step forward.

Fishing is for losers. Sage keeps going.

Nap?! Never!

A forest-dwelling Sim? Sage will meet anyone who calls her beloved camping destination home.

And... well, we didn't actually meet the Hermit this time because, I don't remember, something happened and we went back to the main campsite. OOPS.

Just one more plate of beetles and that part of the aspiration will be ticked off. Sage musters up all of her conviction to cook the little guys.

Lark provides moral support, but only by merely sitting by her mom. No way is she roasting bugs. It's marshmallows all the way for her.

Second verse, same as the first. She hates it, her vegetarianism is violated, blah, blah, blah. But it's over and done with. Good riddance, beetles.
