Then Comes Marriage | Quickover 0.3

by - September 10, 2018

Long story short, I'm new to this whole capturing every great moment of gameplay thing and I forgot to check that my screen capture program was running so we basically skipped right to the wedding. It's fine. It's allllll fine. I get the hang of it soon, promise.

Erick and Helena chose a local park for their nups and decked it all out in classy, elegant decor. More of that later. They really loved soaking in the attention at the alter but, when you look this good, I say soak it alllllllll up.

Oh, yeah, that belly. Helena has a great tailor; that dress fits her like a glove.

At this point, I'm not even sure if any vows have been exchanged. These two just can't keep their hands off of each other.

Enjoy the next two photos for the beauty of Helena alone.

A wider view of the venue. Ignore the giant mud puddle and constant rain. And lack of guests. It's hard being new in town!

These brave souls are in it for the long haul without even bringing an umbrella.

Guests, probably: Get on with it already! My damp clothes moodlet is going to show up any second!

Look at how damn giddy this man is! I don't blame him one bit. He (somehow, somewhere) met this woman such a short time ago and already they are getting married with a baby on the way. What luck. I definitely played no part in this whatsoever by selecting this particular guy from the Gallery and ensuring they would meet. Nope, not me.

No words needed.

Oh, yeah, family. This is Helena's mom, Lynn. Since Helena struck out on her own, things between the two have been a bit distant, which is a big change from how close they were earlier in Helena's life.

Helena: Heeeey, Mom, welcome to my wedding and I'm pregnant! Ha. Ha. Grandma. Don't kill me.

Our founder's not so keen on telling her dad the news, though. He'll just linger in the background with his drink for a little longer.

Lynn: Leave it to my daughter to have her wedding in nature when it rains. Damn you, mud puddle.

(She fell, like, three times.)

Now that they're both dry and in much more comfortable clothes, these two gals reunite for a bit of catching up.

Also, Lynn was definitely not wearing pants here so I had to crop creatively because nobody wants to see that. Come on, Lynn.

Helena: I'm definitely not panicking, Mom, but can you just tell me everything you know, please?

Besides painting, Helena wanted another hobby that could also make some money. Enter: gardening. She has a small, but robust, crop.

No longer living the bachelor life, Erick tries to brush up on his cooking skills. He didn't start any fires so fingers crossed. He is also rocking that deep, deep scoop neck tank.

I think both parties are still having mixed emotions about all of the recent changes in their lives. They haven't prepared for this! They need more books, they need more time.

Oh, come ON. You've seen all of that before, girl. Don't start acting all modest on us now.

Oh, no. Is that a face of impending contractions? Didn't we just determine that they needed more time? And what is it with you and rain? Get inside! Get to the hospital! Where is Erick?!

Next time: And baby makes three!
