In the City | Highlights 2
Here is another batch of highlights in the lives of August, Rhea, Oliver, Tegan, and Adrian. This post ends pretty much at the point where I stopped playing this household; however, they will be making appearances in my other series and I will update on any deaths, births, et cetera.
There was a Winterfest party at the main Quickover house and August and Rhea were just feeling too festive when they got home to take their hats off.
This lady tried to steal August away. I don't even know her. How does she know they are opposites? Who are you?!
Rhea and Tegan had some bonding time at the spa.
I discovered that Tegan and her Uncle Adrian do not get along, like, at all. Whatever happened to being childhood buds?
There was a dinner party that went awry when Rhea tried to serve alcohol to one of Arwen and Molly's children.
Tegan and this guy named Finley got really close.
Adrian's main job in life was to get people to watch his brother busk but that didn't really work out (aka I've never had a single tip while busking).
Love Day was all about Tegan and Finley.
What a breathtaking scene. Tegan and Finley are definitely short of breath but I don't think it's from the view.
I don't know why Erick was so lucky but August did not inherit his father's elderly good looks.
This romance continued to blossom.
Tegan found her center while taking in the beautiful sunrise.
Adrian and Oliver moved out.
Tegan and Finley went out to dinner with Rhea and August and, of course, it was during a horrible storm.
Also, this was the night when all shit broke loose.
Whoever let Rhea and Finley sit next to each other made a huge mistake. And it wasn't me.
This is Finley kissing his phone because he got Rhea's number and August being, well, really upset about it.
A lot of wine was needed to get through this dinner, let's just say that.
August has had it. He was PISSED.
And Tegan was sad, too.
I feel like August got over it quickly, though, because him and Rhea were joking in the hallway before making a very big decision.
A while ago I said something about rushing romance or getting stuck on one couple because of wanting them to have kids and having good genetics. This might have been a case of that. While sad, this allowed both August and Rhea to explore and date other people before the end of their lives.
Okay, maybe some residual anger. Finley tried to explain things but who knows if August took it all in.
Despite everything that happened the night before, Tegan offered Finley a key to the apartment. I guess it doesn't really matter if he flirts with her mother? I don't know what goes through these Sims' minds.
And Rhea also entered the elderly phase of life. She was still beautiful.
That's that! There will be various updates, like I said, peppered throughout other series posts. I loved this family but when your heart is pulling you towards other stories, you just have to go with the flow.
