New Digs | Quickover 2.17
Previously: Sai and Beatrix got married, Adrienne and Briony got engaged, and everyone looked heckin' beautiful.
The Quickovers packed up and left Newcrest behind! Well, Molly and Arwen stayed behind and we will be seeing them here and there. Welcome to Windenburg, readers.Look at this stunning build! The first time I moved them in, I hit unfurnished on accident so it is looking a little bare, but I fixed that mistake and just forgot to take another screenshot.
You can find this house (Retro 20s Loft) on the Gallery, made by leahlaz.
And here is the back of the property. That moon, though.
Adrienne is definitely impressed with the new digs.
Of course, what's a house without some dogs?
This one's a feisty little thing (and I don't remember his name and he is not showing up in anyone's relationship panel) so Sai is petting with extreme caution.
This is Lola. She's very interested in her own tail.
Adrienne's custom florist career doesn't actually require this skill, so the arranging table often gets neglected. Once in a while, though, she'll dedicate some time to putting together a bouquet.
Ignore the unpainted walls (some renovations had to be made with the house, of course), but Briony knows that being a dancer isn't just about dancing, you have to have that little bit of charisma, too.
It is taking some time for these two to start getting along. Forgotten Name Male is... well, a tough nut to crack.
This deck space gets a lot of use, even though that fire looks dangerously intense.
Eventually, Bea and Sai decided to enjoy it from the other side of the fence. No point in risking those eyebrows, after all.
New bed? Here's that typical "breaking it in" photo.
Here's a look at the kitchen. It's a little dark for my tastes but it does suit the house. Since posting this, I still haven't changed it, but I think once I enter Generation D, I'll do a bit more of a remodel. The master bedrooms, especially, need it.
Sai loves a delicious breakfast of eggs and toast. This picture gives me the dry heaves, though. Ugh. Egg smell.
Why do dogs always insist on being around during the most awkward of times? Showering? Make sure you say hello to young Lola in between shampooing and conditioning!
Here is a house shot... again. This time with added snow!
The dogs have become actual dogs but this one doesn't seem to have grown very much. Definitely compensating for his size with his ferocity.
Lola, however, got very big. Such a good doggo, she is!
Briony: Hey, I signed up for alien night, not human night. What gives?
Oh, Bri, have patience.
Okay, right. Patience. Just entertain the humans for a little longer.
Yes! Look at this cutie!
Briony is absolutely ecstatic to have discovered an alien. What will she do with this knowledge and experience? Absolutely nothing.
Have these animals never heard of privacy!? Get out!
Oh, gross, this looks like an about-to-blow-chunks face.
Yup. Maybe not chunks, necessarily, but still disgusting.
Beatrix: Hey, honey, remember how I ate that huge dinner last night? That's not the only thing making this belly bigger!
Sai is super excited! Yay!
Hold that though. Bea's a little pale and pukey and Sai is really not into it. Man up, dude. You're going to have to deal with infant puke, poop, and everything else; you can handle your wife's gagging.
Briony doesn't look too thrilled about the news of a baby. Don't worry, girl, this house is big enough for all of you.
