The Possession of Bethany and Beatrix Quickover | Quickover 2.3
Previously: Baby number two made her entrance into the world and Bethany showed signs of being a little bit evil.
So it's almost Spooky Day and things are getting off to a great start because the new baby is being watched over by a ghost dog. Definitely an omen of things to come.
(Also, I think this was supposed to go in the last part before the whole Truman jumping back into his tombstone thing but, hey, we all make mistakes.)
Okay, Bethany is doing her homework without me asking. This is great! Can't worry about a polterpooch when we are studying, am I right?
Learning new things, making new friends, Bethany is such a little go-getter.
I only have the baby lifespan on two days and, let's be real, babies are boring so if it seems like they age up super fast... they kind of do.
Sparkly, magic baby. I love this game.
Here is Beatrix as a toddler! Also inherited Arwen's heterochromia (although with different colors than Bethany) but didn't really get any red hair. She is - let me hear it - adorable. Her little lips!
I just love the imagination graphics in-game. Maybe Bethany actually wants to be an astronaut like her mom? Only time will tell.
Potty training is so hard, it definitely requires two parent supervision. Even if one parent is stuffing her face. Her presence is encouraging enough.
Remember when Bethany also had a demon eye moment? It's been passed on to Beatrix. Either she really hates that high chair or the spirit inside of her is trying to get out.
There is no other way around this. We need an exorcism.
In Bea's defense, she did not tear down this dollhouse. Some random townie friend of her parents did. And now the demon is probably putting a mark on his for death so, you know, justice.
Apparently, Molly worships the counter while she's eating now. Same.
Arwen is trying to ignore all the weird stuff that's going on by reading Beatrix a story.
Little does she know that right outside the front door, something frightening is happening...
Oh, no. No, no, no. I have to exit this post. I feel like I, too, am going to be possessed.
Do not trust the smiling toddler. There's evil afoot.

The Quickovers adopted a cat on Spooky Day! Her name is Wednesday! I love her! She's good, I promise, no evil here.
Seemingly back to normal Bethany loves her, too.
Hey, Bea, what do you want to be for Spooky Day?
Bea: *walks into the kitchen*
Okay, girl, work.

Molly is a maid.
Bethany is a pumpkin carving princess.
She looks a little bit scared. I definitely think parental supervision should be required at this little potential-loss-of-fingers-station but who am I, right?
Like, I want to trust her because she's cute and she loves her mom so much (see below) but I can't stop thinking about her flashes of evil. What is your truth, Bethany?
Arwen decided to go as a cheerleader. I can't tell if that's admiration or mischief in Bea's eyes.
Aw, a nice girl for Bethany to be friends with! She surely can't mess this up.
Well, okay, slapping each other silly probably isn't the best way to start a friendship but I'm remaining optimistic.
If you stare in her eyes long enough, you, too, might be possessed. Just a warning. I'm not saying that it already happened to me but would someone who is possessed ever admit to it?
Okay, but look at Wednesday trying to play with this giant toy!
All together now: awwwwww. She looks like a little roly-poly.
This innocent trick-or-treater stopped by and was also terrified by the haunted candy bowl.
She decided to take revenge by whipping out an airhorn but is it really worth it if you lose your hearing, too?
Arwen whipped up this gorgeous plate of spooky cookies.
Costume change! Molly is now... this.
Wow, look at those makeup skills! Really going all out for this party.
Great! A skeleton! Couldn't just be another princess, eh?
Bethany: You stole my mom's look.
Tegan: Kid, what's up with your eyes?
I'd leave now if I were you, Tegan.
Like half of me is mad that this bartender started a fire in my house, but the other half is definitely laughing because, dude, she deserved it. What are you doing in my laundry room in the first place, lady?! Go make some drinks!
Bartender: Wow, look at that! I'm on fire! Funny what happens when I don't do my job.
How is Arwen still so clean? Everything and everyone around her is covered in ash but she's flawless. It's almost like... magic. Black magic, maybe.
Somehow these two stayed out of the fray. I honestly don't even know who that is in the llama-bird-hybrid thing. They aren't scorched, though, so good for them.
Just when you thought we were rid of demon!Bethany, she lures you back in. Bedtime? What bedtime! The power of Christ compels you, B.
Bethany: Oh, does it? Does it compel me?
August: All I wanted was a nice Spooky Day and what do I get? I don't even live here. I should have let it burn.
Okaaaaay, buddy, getting a bit dark there.
