Lots and Lots of Birthdays | Generation 4 Highlights | Part One

by - March 11, 2019

Previously: Conrad met and married Martina, who had a daughter, Josefa. The two moved in with Conrad, Beatrix, and Sai. Their first daughter, Daphne, was born not too long after that.

Generation D began with the birth of Daphne, as you saw at the very end of the previous highlights post. Here's Conrad with his precious daughter.

Josefa, on the other hand, did not want anything to do with Daphne. She was OVER. IT.

Here is Daphne as a toddler. She had a gap between her front teeth and was generally adorable.

As is often the case when an only child finally gets a sibling, Josefa was not having it. She wanted all of mom's attention.

This dog's name was Marshall. I just love this picture.

Even in her old age, Beatrix tried to keep fit and trim...

...while Sai was left with potty training duties.

It wasn't long before Martina was sharing some exciting news with Conrad once again. Don't ask me why she chose to do it while he was burning leaves.

The idea of another baby in the house already has Conrad exhausted.

Beatrix and Sai tried to get everyone in the New Year's spirit but Martina was deep in the throes of morning sickness and was not in the partying mood.

Oh well. More booze for these two.

Grandpa Sai cherished his role as storyteller.

And Conrad took it upon himself to get a jump start on Daphne's education.

With baby number two, Martina chose a home birth.

It's another girl and her name is Demi. Ignore the skin tone mishap.

Josefa has a few last laughs with her childhood friends before taking the leap into her teen years.

And Daphne declared herself as the new playground queen.

Can we talk about how Sai was still rocking that deep-V in his later life? Conrad's like, "okay, Dad, maybe showing a bit too much skin."

Here is Josefa as a teen. She was cute.

I had big plans for her to be a successful vlogger. They didn't entirely work out but, hey, there will be more chances for stardom.

We said goodbye to Sai.

(Also at this point in the game, I was having a lot of glitches and weird stuff happening so this family definitely changed houses a few times and I even had to start a new save file with them so I lost the extended family members because I was just too lazy to deal with that.)

Daphne met a new friend at school and, as it turned out, his parents were huge celebrities! And, yeah, this is Daphne as a child.

Martina could not contain herself around this vaguely-famous kid. Even he is like, "calm down, lady."

Here is Demi as a toddler.

We said goodbye to Beatrix. I just remembered that she actually died the night she got engaged to Sai, so long ago, but I panicked and exited without saving and just did that part over. I gave her so much more life. You're welcome, Bea.

Martina was giving it a go in the stylist career and pretending to take notes on Father Winter's look. Pretending because, really, she'd be laughed out of the office.

She ran into this huge celebrity, Judith Ward, on the street and, well, didn't keep her cool. Probably predictably.

Demi is quite the grumpy toddler, even resisting her mother's hugs.

These kids just grow up so fast, don't they?!

I don't have an official portrait for Demi as a child but, as is the pattern with these kids, she was cute.

She's a child, ma'am.

It was rough at the beginning, sure, but Josefa did eventually come around to love her sisters.

Josefa kept on that video-making grind. She was gaining a little fame.

Oh, yeah, there was a surprise baby number 3. His name was Dominic.

After moving house yet again, Conrad was exhausted.

So he spent a lot of time with his ghost mom to vent and de-stress.

There was a hot minute when I went down this rabbit hole, aka having Josefa fall for an older man.

They even shared a kiss. But then this guy got married off and I was like, eh, probably for the best.

Some kind of pox spread through the household like wildfire.

Demi tried her hand at acting by joining the drama club. It was short lived.

The family took in this creepy cat who had an incredible taste for human food.

And through it all, Martina and Conrad kept the love alive. Look at them, seriously!

To wrap up this part, Daphne became a teenager. I don't have a portrait for this stage in her life (yes, I was slacking) but, trust me, she was gorgeous! You'll see more of her in the next post.
