Day Thirteen & Day Fourteen (Part One) | Love Island

by - August 12, 2019

Previously on Love Island: Nadia and Charley went out on a date, as did Phoebe and Maxwell, but with two different outcomes.

It's breakfast time in the new villa.

Some of the new Islanders are using this time to keep each other updated on any romance or drama that is happening.

While Maxwell decides to stick close with Phoebe after yesterday's date.

After breakfast, Marisol and Madeleine sneak off for a little alone time.

And Georgia is also getting some time alone with a giant whale float. She really misses Nadia, huh?

New installment in the villa: the diving rock thing.

Madeleine is the first to take the plunge.

New boy Jude follows suit but let's just say his skill isn't up to par.

Phoebe and Maxwell are continuing to talk and it looks like things are going well.

Phoebe: Well, Evan used to say...

On second thought, Maxwell is maybe not so sure.

Annnnnd Georgia is once again doing her own thing.

Abby is flaunting what she's got in front of the stereo, where no one can miss her.

M Squared have taken their one-on-one upstairs to the balcony.

We can't even see Madeleine's eyes but there is definitely a specific glint in them.

After his conversation with Phoebe, Maxwell is seeming a bit frustrated.

Maxwell: It's all "Evan this," and "Evan that." I thought we were doing good!

Back at the main villa, it's a dance party. As usual.

Even though Reid is kind of being a third wheel, Dom and Aspen are still making time to talk.

And, of course, making time to bowl, since the production team left the lane there, ready for use.

Mara: Just be honest, Nadia, do you think Theo's got someone new over there?

Smart girl, Nadia. Just keep Mara reassured. We're sure nothing bad will happen to her feelings. We've definitely seen no evidence of that...

It's sort of bad luck for the new Islanders that aren't making any connections. They're relegated to one highlight here or there. Here's Reid not being great at bowling.

And Peter trying out the climbing wall.

Wow, this batch just aren't that great at bowling, huh?

Reid: Don't worry, bro, I'm sure your skin will be back to normal before Phoebe sees you again.

The rest of the evening passes uneventfully. The morning of day fourteen:

Peter: I got a text! "Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling and party at the new villa. The new Islanders not chosen to be in a couple will be immediately dumped from the island."

Dominic: I really do have something beginning with Aspen, I think... I'm still hung up on Adam, though. I'm more confused than anything now.

Dominic: So, the recoupling... I'm going to pick you...

Dominic: ...if you want? I mean, I don't have to.

Oh, poor guy. He's just so not confident.

Luckily, Nadia steps in to give some encouragement.

Madeleine: I got a text! "Islanders, tonight you will be hosting the main villa, with a party and recoupling."

Marisol isn't too stressed about the recoupling ceremony.

Then again, maybe she is and just wanted to face plant into the pool to release some anxiety.

Georgia: I can't wait to see Nadia again! Being apart has only made my feelings stronger.
Madeleine: Finally, a recoupling where there is actually someone I want to couple up with. Bring it on!

Oh Lord, these two are separating themselves from the group again.

Um, Theo? You sure you wanna do this when Mara is going to be showing up in just a few hours?

Yup. He's sure.

Not so hidden after all, Phoebe saw everything.

And she immediately called over Madeleine and Georgia to talk.

Phoebe: Mara is going to be devastated.

But their concern for their friend's heart didn't last long before it was all smiles and positivity again.

Next Time on Love Island: It's the party to end all parties. Hearts may get broken and tough decisions will be made.
