Death Days, Birthdays, and Conception Days | Pistachio 13 | Pastel Patisserie

by - July 19, 2021

Let's start this post by looking at Canary's room makeover. It is, obviously, super yellow! I am obsessed with that bird rug.

Lark is such a good big sister; she tucks in Dove when Sage is otherwise preoccupied.

Preoccupied by honing her Gardening skill, that is! Sage maxed the skill and ticked off another part of her generation's requirements!

It's another day in the National Park for our Serie family as Sage has one goal: get knocked up.

First things first, though. She takes a few minutes to work on her herbal remedies before entering the deepest, most secluded part of the woods.

She sees some butterflies and can't resist catching them for a closer look. She always lets them go after recording their details in her journal, though.

Canary, meanwhile, is spending her time daydreaming about life in the big city. I'm not sure it will include carriages or ships though, kid.

I can totally see Dove being a park ranger someday. Here she is criticizing some park policies.

Don't worry, Celery is still around and up to his usual antics.

And now Canary is doing homework by the light of the fire. This girl, guys. She hates being outside and doing outside stuff.

Robots really like to break down here. Like this is genuinely creepy.

While her kids do homework and whatever else their heart's desire, Sage gets into bed with Salvatore.

And would you look at that?! She is so fertile, it's unreal.

2 minutes pregnant and already feeling the symptoms. This might be a rough one.

Salvatore looks pretty okay with being a dad. Of course, he probably won't leave the house much to be in the kid's life but that's fine. Sage can always bring them to visit.

Back home, Canary is doing chores and hating it. She should just be happy she's inside again.

That's it, kid, put your brave face on.

Gardeners never rest. Sage pulls out the big guns to battle the weeds that popped up while they were gone.

Wait. What? Why is she watering the plants with her tears? Does she know something that we don't?

Oh, good, Patchy is awake and back in the house. Celery hates him.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DID YOU DO THIS, PATCHY!?

Grim is here. It's official. Celery's life has reached its end.

Sage has even more to cry about now. I hate this. I loved Celery and his funny little face. He grew with us as our family and garden grew.

His final resting place is by the plants, of course, where he often hung out while Sage tended to them. An appropriately colored ball will stay with him forever.

Sage's sadness has to be pushed aside for a little while because it's Dove's birthday!

I'm sure she's wishing for a future in the park ranger business. She can't wait to rock that uniform.

Are Sage and Canary singing or terrified of this glowing tornado of a person in the kitchen?

Let's end this installment with a look at our Dove. She is beautiful. With two of Sage's kids already beings teens and her fourth one on the way, I truly can't believe that time goes so fast (actually, yeah, I can, because I like to 3-speed a lot of the time). Only two more parts in Sage's story!
