A New Lady In The House (And A New Man In Bea's Life) | Quickover 2.12

by - October 17, 2018

Previously: Briony began to come into her own as a teenager.

Beatrix thinks she's hilarious. I know the feeling.

She's trying to calm herself down but nothing's really working. You know when something's just so damn funny you can't even get it out without laughing? She's going through that a lot these days.

After her bout of laughter subsided, Bea found herself a blind date off of the Simda Dating App.

This night didn't result in any second dates or continued interest, but Bea's new friend certainly knows how to dance! And yellow socks with white sandals?! YES, GIRL.

Who knew such a cute outfit was hiding under that coat! Apparently the bar is a better place to be than with her date... ouch.

Well, this doesn't look promising! What kind of stove looks like this, even when it is broken? My God, the whole kitchen will be up in flames soon.

You know I can never go long without a new animal in my households, so meet Penny. SHE IS THE CUTEST PUPPY EVER.

Let me just say that Molly has got some confidence wearing this outfit in her older age. I think I can even see the remnants of a six-pack holding on. What a star.

It's an instant bond for her and Penny.

Not even high school can save you from these incredibly intricate projects, Bri, but I don't think it's bad enough to cry over.

The Humor and Hijinks festival is back in town once again and, unlike when their mothers attended years ago, our girls are going to the good side.

Except Bea has some sort of crisis before she can down the drink and her aunt Tegan is standing by wearing some weird socks and everything is not going according to my plan.

Arwen's work has gone so well that she's finally ready to make a crucial decision. Obviously, we are going with Space Ranger.

Let me tell you with complete confidence that this round of the H+H Festival is not as poppin' as it was the first time we attended. What a snoozefest!

Briony: Gee, I thought this was supposed to be a fun sister outing but instead I've been abandoned and I can't even be on the winning side of this thing and WHERE IS BEATRIX?!

Well, Briony, she's a little preoccupied...

Even though all she can see is his face through the door's window, Beatrix feels something special with this bartender, Sai. This seems familiar - didn't she end up talking to the bartender at the beginning of this very post? Girl's got a type.

Arwen has a new project taking up her spare time: rocket building. You know, just the casual hobbies for her.

Look at how thin her legs are! Astronaut training is no joke. That shit gets you lean.

Uh, thanks, Bethany. How do you know him? Do you even have time for friends, what with all of your jungle expeditions?

I also love how you can only click "OK." So passive aggressive. "Congrats on your engagement!" "OK."

I don't know why Briony is so angsty right here but it probably doesn't help that she's really bad at video games.

Oh, little Penny, is life so hard that you have to sit in the hallway and wail about it?

Beatrix invited Sai over for a little more face-to-face chat (you know, face-to-door-window-to-face is so overrated) and, despite wearing this outfit, I think she's pretty into him.

Oookay, I guess we're giving up on face-to-face, too. Who doesn't love conversing around a toddler's bookcase? (Also I'm not showing Sai's face for a reason and that reason is because I have to wait until I give him a little makeover.)

Has Wednesday come back to haunt her family? Nah, she mostly just walks around and looks scary.

Beatrix got some tattoos. Here's a constellation.

And here's some feet touching other feet.

I hate how low cut the underwear is.

Penny's a big girl now! And she watches Arwen on the treadmill just like Chester watched Helena paint at the very beginning of it all.

Arwen is determined to get this rocket built if it's the last thing she does. Working late into the night in heels and a romper? No problem.

Briony is working equally as hard (maybe not) on her school project. We stan these hardworking Sim ladies!

Peaceful Penny. Out of all the pets we've had throughout these beginning generations, Penny may be my favorite. Besides the OG Chester, of course.
