Spooky Day | Desert Dreams 3
Previously: After their jungle vacation, the girls continued to get settled in their new home.
It's Spooky Day and our trio have decided to have a party! Get your pumpkins and your costumes and let's get spooooooooooooky. The party hasn't even started yet and the girls are just trying to bond but this absolute rando popped in for some candy. I need you to step back and let these ladies have their hugging time.
Okay, fine, one piece of heckin' candy. You should feel lucky you didn't get pretzels, Miss Thing.

I love this picture. It's like, oh, what is Tessa smiling at? Then you see Bethany in the mirror looking all saucy. These two are really subtly in love and I'm really not-subtly into it.
We keep inviting Tegan to things and she keeps looking miserable. Remember Winterfest? Who is honestly that unenthused while holding a present?
Oh, crap, Tessa and Beatrix are wearing the same costume. How embarrassing.
(Also ignore how this was clearly before Bethany went back to brown hair. Oops on my post chronology.)
I don't know what Briony is and I don't think she really does, either. She's looking a little bit confused about everything that's going on.
The girls are looking awfully suspicious near the pumpkin carving station. Let's hope they don't get up to any shenanigans.
Adrian and Oliver also made an appearance, along with this random Roman dude.
It's snowing again! Love seeing that white stuff coming down while the Spooky Day decorations are on full display... not.
This lovely guest decided to take a bath in the middle of the party. Just help yourself to our citrus slices, I guess.
After a quick costume change, Bethany and Tessa are feeling even more romantic than usual. How long do you think that body paint took?
Don't look so surprised, Bethany, this blue creature is really into you.
This is when things became official between these two, even though earlier I said they were in love. Sometimes labels just take a while, okay?!
I'm pretty sure Arwen wore that faerie costume last Spooky Day, no? When Bethany was a full-on demon? Wow. Be more original.
Tegan: Oh, you young kids, getting girlfriends and drinking like you'll never get hungover. To be that age again...
Calm down, girl, you're like... not even old.
I think Bethany is having some serious morning-after regrets. All those dishes? I mean, at least they have a dishwasher, but still. This is what you get living on your own and throwing parties!
Bethany: And I had to clean up all of the dishes! Where were you!? I just think we need to share the housework after a party that we all throw.
Raegen's response needs no caption.
After a long night, Raegen definitely needs a good yoga session (just in the comfort of her own home this time).
Briony is so supportive of Bethany's love life! But wasn't she, like, at the party? She couldn't have just told us this last night?
Oh, to live in a place where you can dress like this the day after Spooky Day...
Bethany knows that her job will probably be physically demanding, what with having to traverse the jungle to find dig sites. She decides to get a head start on this by working on her stamina and cardio.
I think Raegen fell asleep during her session. No shame, girl!
While everyone else is working on their physical health, Tessa is enjoying a relaxing sit by the pool, soaking up the desert rays.
I think Tessa is really into new exercise-conscious Bethany. I don't blame her.
Bethany: Hey, travel agent? I'd love a solo Selvadorada trip where absolutely nothing will scare me! Thanks!
Excuse me while I just fangirl about how GREAT this is. IT'S SO PRETTY. Also, let's play an incredibly easy round of "Where's Bethany?"
It's time to cut apart these branches and vines and see what the jungle has in store for us.
It took quite a while to machete our way through.
These screens are harder to read than I anticipated (crop smaller next time, you idiot), so the gist is this:
We tried to get some treasure hidden in these creepy vines.
We back out of looking into the things further and the vines then try to get us while making weird noises.
Bethany makes it out in one piece but is definitely shaken up.
This is definitely not what she signed up for this trip but, hey, if you want to be one with the culture and the history, you gotta do what you gotta do!
Ah, yes, a much safer and more relaxing activity. Ya know, for traversing through rough conditions, Bethany's outfit is still flawlessly clean. Weird how that happens.
Whose hair stays this flawless in these conditions?! I'm so mad. What level of hold are you using in your hairspray, Beth? Let a lady know.
After some inspecting an the archaeology table at the museum, she found a fossilized alien skull thing! I'M JEALOUS.
This is incredibly beautiful.
We're back at the bar and Bethany's telling her tale of barely escaping those vines but I'm not sure anyone is really impressed.
Lady with Red Hair: What a newbie.
I think Bethany is a picky eater like me because she seems really not into eating whatever it is the bartender gave her.
Okay, she took a bite. Jury's still out on how she feels about it. That drink sure looks tasty, though!
