Vailea's Growing Up | Sul Sul, Sulani! 13
Previously: Elei and Nohea moved house and adjusted to life with a baby.
She looks so small next to this friendly dolphin, who does any trick available for a treat.
Back at home, Ahe is trying to find out where a really, really bad smell is coming from. Turns out, it's the baby.
He decides to leave that situation for someone with opposable thumbs.
Luckily, Elei is home from her dolphin adventures and tends to the problem right away.
While Nohea comforts Ahe and makes sure he knows that he'll always be her first baby.
I put a framed photo of Nohea and Elei on the coffee table and it just oozes romance so the girls are usually always feeling flirty.
It isn't long before the baby smells again... and is ready to get out of that bassinet.
Magic sparkles?! Yup, it's time for Vailea to get a little bit older!
Her first hesitant steps take her right past Ahe and they both look a bit uncertain.
Elei wastes no time before starting to teach Vailea the basics of communication.
And the little girls seems to be enjoying herself.
But it isn't long after that when Vailea gets way too frustrated with trying to learn and demands some cuddles from Nohea.
She's happy to oblige.
This is life for Elei and Nohea now. Reading picture books on the couch...
...and teaching with flashcards.
(And, yes, Vailea's hair did change to black. Just go with it.)
I think it'd be easier for her to understand the concepts if you held the cards a bit closer to her eye-level, Nohea.
Next task? Mastering the potty.
Hopefully this isn't a malicious spirit because it's kind of creepy to just be hovering above Vailea's bed like that.
While the girls were busy with their daughter, they were left a delicious homemade meal. Thanks, ladies!
Nohea: Just ignore the creepy spirit, it's fine, go to sleep.
The next morning, Vailea gets her first taste of the ocean.
Unsurprisingly, she loves it.
Next up, the two of them (mostly Nohea) work on a sand sculpture.
Vailea mostly wants to just throw sand all over.
Elei: Remember when you adopted a puppy without telling me first? Well, I got a cat!
Her name is Lilo.
And don't let the cuteness fool you, she is a rapscallion.
Ahe isn't sure how to act around another small girl in the house.
Finally free from flashcards and her mothers' gazes, Vailea is left to her own devices with her dollhouse.
And her big brother to keep her company. She's got a pretty nice life, huh?
