Canary Gets the Crown | Lemonade 1 | Pastel Patisserie

by - July 29, 2021

Canary's first official day as the Challenge Main Character just so happens to be Spooky Day. Sage had to get a picture of her kids dressed up, of course.

Sage went for a pink faerie outfit herself.

And Lark got in on the fun, too. She is embracing her mom's generation color, while Sage decided to stray away from it for the day.

After school, Canary neglects her gardening duties to carve a pumpkin.

(Don't ask why Lark is outside in a towel.)

Oh, Spooky Day isn't just Spooky Day. It's Canary's BIRTHDAY!

Lark still hasn't gotten dressed but it's fine, at least they are all in the kitchen celebrating their daughter and sister.

Here she is, all grown up and with her gen-appropriate hair.

Simply put, I adore her.

Wren also aged up and she is a complete Grumpy Gus.

Ugh, mere moments into her teens and already doing more chores? Canary is so over it.

Which is... why you're cleaning it, sis. It's gonna be okay.

Canary knows that doing well in school will help her out in the future, so while her family learns from Mother Nature, she does her homework.

This serves no purpose except to show off how cute she is.

Canary spends a lot of time watching movie set in places vastly different than Brindleton Bay.

She also focuses hard on making sure her social skills are up to snuff. Wherever she ends up, she wants to be able to be a smooth talker in order to get where she needs to be.

When Sage tells her to "go work in the garden," Canary pulls out her phone instead.

It isn't long before she's caught slacking, though.

Sage: "I know that you have your own interests, but you are still a part of this family and I expect you to help out."

Canary: "There are so many other people in this house who can help! I'm not like you or Lark or Dove, Mom. I don't want to be playing in the dirt all day."

Needless to say, there can be a bit of tension in the house. A lot of love, of course, but what's a family without the occasional argument?

To clear her head, Canary takes a walk.

Part of her wishes she could keep walking, through the water and to somewhere bigger, more exciting.

But, for now, she'll settle for a view of the sea.

Here is Canary's official heir portrait!

Next time, we'll take a look at her generation requirements and take big steps towards a new life.
